Turkish Delights

We decided to have dinner at the turkish restaurant that Clara thought looked yummy. Indeed, her judgment turned out to be right! And, to top it off, our waiter was really cute:)

The Appetizers:
Humus with freshly baked turkish bread.
Honestly, nothing beats freshly baked bread. And the humus (i am not kidding, it is the name of the sauce) complemented the sesame aroma of the bread well. Humus is a creamy blend of chickpeas, olive oil and spices.

Skinny Spring Rolls with THE DIP.

The Main Courses:
Lamb Stew, on a bed of Feta Cheese and Turkish spices.

Chicken and Bread Kebab with Yoghurt Sauce

The Desserts:
Baklava.
Puff Pastry balanced delicately on top of a solid brown sugary base, served with warm buttercream and finely chopped pistacho nuts.

Kenefe.
Fried thinly sliced Feta Cheese, served warm with buttercream and Pistacho nuts.
