It always pays to be nice to the service staff: this lovely slice of cake was recommended to me by a kind waitress at Hanis. The texture is wonderfully light and the taste of the strawberries complement the cream trelis nicely. It is not cloyingly sweet nor "dense", like most cheesecakes are like in tea houses.
It is truly the perfect complement to a cup of tea in an English rose garden.
