The Mango Seller

Being a mango seller for for 30 minutes of my life was refreshing. This wannabe fruit seller sold freshly imported rainbow mangoes from Thailand, straight from the docks in the AM. The fruits and fresh produce businesses are not appealing industries to get into, as the profit margin is low (compared to other industries) and the risk is high, and there is little room for horizontal expansion in Singapore. However, as lousy as the prospects are, these goods are basic necessities to all of us (I can never live without apples!) hence, based on this deduction, it is understandable that people would actually choose to go into this line (assuming, that they had a VALID choice to do this line and some other line).

I am thankful for that, because I am able to eat organic apples because of these people.
